Every day at 3:00 AM UTC, our content pipeline generates fresh horoscope readings for all twelve zodiac signs across every supported language. Each reading incorporates actual planetary positions, moon phases, and significant transits calculated from real astronomical ephemeris data — ensuring your horoscope reflects what is actually happening in the sky.

Our astrological methodology draws from the Western tropical zodiac tradition, which divides the ecliptic into twelve equal segments starting from the vernal equinox. This is the system most widely used in Western astrology and the basis for the sun sign horoscopes that most readers are familiar with.

We incorporate several layers of astrological data into each reading: the Sun's current sign and degree, the Moon's phase and sign, Mercury's status (direct or retrograde), and significant aspects between major planets. For weekly, monthly, and yearly readings, we factor in longer-term transits of Jupiter, Saturn, and the outer planets that shape broader life themes.

While sun sign astrology is by nature a generalisation — a full natal chart reading considers the positions of all planets at your exact time and place of birth — we aim to provide readings that are specific enough to be meaningful and broad enough to resonate with the diverse experiences of each sign's population.

Luminae takes your privacy seriously. We do not require account creation to read your horoscope. If you choose to subscribe to our daily email digest, we store only your email address and preferred zodiac sign. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.

Our astronomical data comes from published ephemeris tables and open-source astronomical calculation libraries. All content is generated fresh daily — we do not store or reuse readings from previous days. Each reading is unique to its date, sign, and language combination.
